I made some homemade "macro-balls" tonight!
These nutritious balls have a great combination of the three macronutrients: protein, carbs and healthy fats. In terms of food combining, proteins and starches don't mix too well for digestive purposes so I included a moderate amount of both🍃
-coconut oil (provides medium chain fatty acids)
-organic sunflower seed oil (healthy fat and protein)
-organic quinoa flakes (starches)
-raw unpasteurized honey (simple carbs)
-plant based protein powder
-organic caoco buds
