This is everything required for a day of fertility treatment. The Gonal-F Redi-ject pen contains 900IUs of medication (I have two in my fridge), I attach a needle to the tip, turn the dial on the top to get to 150IUs (my prescribed dose), clean the area of injection, insert the needle and hold down the top for five seconds to make sure the entire dose goes in. The two Menopur vials must be mixed right before injecting using the Q-Cap (far left under the Gonal-F pen) and the smaller syringe on the bottom. Once it is mixed fully, it is ready for injection. I take one Doxycycline twice a day, Metformin once a day with dinner to treat my increased risk of Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS), and two pills once a day of Letrozole.
Day 1 is down, 13 more to go! #LetsDoThis
