I know this isn’t Dodgers related, but I wouldn’t do this if I had any other option. Last night on September 17, 2018, at 10:00 PM, I received a call that changed my life forever. For the first time in my life, I would wake up knowing that my dad would no longer be with me and it would never be the same. My dad was 61 years old when a heart attack unexpectedly took him away. After that, we realized that funeral costs are far too much for us to bear as we didn’t plan for his death. Ed Contreras, Jr. was a man who always put others before himself and never said no to anyone who was in need. He was the person who introduced me to the Dodgers, took me to my first Dodger game, and taught me everything I know. Now, he is the one in need. If you are willing to donate to help my family and I give him a proper burial, then we would greatly appreciate it. If not, then that’s okay as well. I’m sorry for burdening you with this, but this is my only option at this point. You can donate by clicking the link in my bio. Thank you for your time.
