Look Good Feel Better for cancer patients.
Are you familiar with the program?
LGFB work by running workshops that teach cancer patients how to manage the appearance-related side-effects caused by cancer treatment.
It is for men, women & teens.
Everything from drawing on eyebrows to scarf & wig wearing. Patients also receive a confidence kit each.
This is a long running program that, unbelievably, does not receive government funding for their programs. ***A workshop needs just $1,000 to run.*** I wish I'd been a part of this program sooner, I sadly know of many who could have benefited from attending workshop or by receiving a personal care kit.
My "sky goal" is to raise enough to fund a workshop.
Workshops can be held anywhere, and all anyone needs to do is register for one if they need it.
To raise this money I am donating 20% of the sale of a lipstick, mascara or concealer between now and end of May. **Or you can make a direct donation to the program using the link I'll put for you here and in comments.** A mascara is $24, $27 or $29, 5 options to choose from)
Concealer $25 (7 to choose from)
Lipstick $25 (semi matte, likened to Mac in formula)
I will also be donating my time to helping run a workshop (either Warrnambool or Melbourne)
And if a patient cannot make a workshop due to any reason (confidence, inability due to health, distance etc)
I will come directly to you and we will do one together.
In life you need a purpose, I've always been community minded and these workshops are such a valued resource for people experiencing cancer. I can't believe I wasn't behind this sooner.
From this day on, Look Good Feel
Better will be the main beneficiary of any fundraising I do.

(donations will be made and posted results here at the end of May)
Note- strictly no spam or tricks.
If you know me that's not how I am, and the value of these workshops are priceless to the community and this is a way I can get behind it.
My only regret is not having been a part of it sooner
