Six years ago my life changed forever when we unexpectedly lost our beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend 💜 Tracey Lee Raymond 💜
Only a few know a bit about the darkness that I’m faced with every single day as I open my eyes and relive the horrible realisation she’s not here anymore 💔 And for those that do know (and still love me anyway), I’ll be eternally grateful 💖
A lot of people have wondered where my passion for wellness came from, particularly mental health and wellness, and for those that know my story know it’s because of this incredible woman right here.
Mum’s background taught me the value of good whole foods and nutrition and the effect it has on our bodies. She also had bipolar and diabetes. Two diseases that required proper care, intervention and management and unfortunately in the end, she just simply didn’t get it.
In recent years I’ve been guided to channel my grief and anger of the medical malpractice against her that lead to her death, to further her legacy.
After immersing and educating myself in wide range of holistic health and healing educational courses, I’ve chosen to take on this path as a wellness ambassador.
If there’s two things I can say that I’ve learnt from the experience of losing mum and since becoming a mother myself (and example for my own child), it’s to not leave this earth with the song still in my heart and the value of prioritising self love and care.
My mission has become bigger than me now, and as completely heartbreaking as my experience has been for my family and I, I find comfort in knowing that I have a gift that HAS TO be shared in her honour. #traceyleeslegacy
There is power and healing in sharing our personal stories, no matter how much it aches. I wish more than anything that I had the opportunity to share these learnings with my mum as it has the power to have saved her life!
Thank you to everyone who sent their kind words and thoughts to us today. My gift from above, Ocean, and I had a special day doing the things her grandma loved best.
Fly high mumma, my angel 💜🌻 I promise I’ll do you proud xx
