Its time I stopped letting my old injury scare me from doing heavy deadlifts.
475 × 2 on axle deadlift with lots more in the tank.💪🏻☠ Thanks @akoppstrongman_nutrishop for helping me fix my form! I'm much more confident now that I won't injure myself moving forward. 🙌🏻

Workout #79 is complete. It was a rough day. I didn’t get out of work until 8pm. Since my wife is out of town, I had to pick up my daughter and get her to bed. Then I helped my bro and sis-n-law move some things. I could have easily said F it and went to sleep, it I figured, if I can commit to putting in extra work for everyone else, why not do it for myself too. So, here we are. Since I can’t leave my daughter home alone, running was out of the question, so I decided to spend some quality time on the bar. The picture was a long exposure taken on the IPhone 8. I thought it looked kind of interesting. It’s like the spirit of calisthenics is a part of me now...lol. ✌🏽

Wednesday's therapy session included pulse back squats, modified pullups, pushups and box jumps. Walked out of the box feeling lighter after a wery long workday.

There are days where we struggle and you just have to push to finish. I lost 10lbs in a little more than a week with a 3 day road trip & hectic travel schedule during that time. Every setback is a setup for comeback so keep pushing and always finish. #fitfam

Success starts from an ability to manage yourself.

Quite often people burn themselves out or never get the result they want because they lack the ability to manage their time, resulting in low energy levels and stress coming out your ears.

Take responsibility for your actions and pre-plan how you’re going to attack the day with your most important tasks set out first.

It’s impossible to operate at 100% all the time, so if you have a huge load of work now till Christmas that you need to smash out, it is essential to schedule breaks and time for yourself to unwind.

The more you tax yourself with stress that comes from things like work and training, the more you need to plug in your own self-management strategies.

What you do with your time will show through how you feel and look.
