This one is by far my favourite but you will need to allow for it in your daily intake if your tracking macros, if not then have a crack and enjoy it guilt freeπŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ Rice Pudding!!!🀩🀩 who’s doesn’t like it .....🀀 As simple as a quarter of a cup of basmati rice (measurement is for uncooked)cooked and let cool down for a few minutes, one scoop of your favourite BLM WPI protein or WPC which ever you are using, approx 30ml of almond milk or water just to add a little moisture to help everything mix in but you don’t want it to be too runny either, give it a good mix and your ready to go πŸ‘πŸ‘ serve it with what ever toppings you like. Side plank : no doubt that it’s one of the most overlooked exercise and loses out to a conventional plank which takes the highlight for having your abs game in place.
By ignoring the side plank you are also ignoring the muscle called the quadratus lumborum which is a part of the posterior abdominal wall that plays an impt role in avoiding back pain.

If you find you can hold a side plank easy on one side and it’s difficult on the other then there an imbalance you need to work on.
The reason why we do a movement is to work on a short stretch cycling of the muscles of the side. You could combine this with status hold for more muscle recruitment. Will benefit your overall game.
Along with the QL, the muscles of your obliques are worked. Shoulders are doing their part as well.
The exercise done is a good one for cricket bowlers, overhead racquet sport base baller or any sport that has a lateral bend on one side and eccentric side stretch on another to avoid something called as β€œside strain” as well.

I eat chicken because it’s on the plan. But that’s the only reason. 😜 we’ve decided we like our chicken diced the most. When you eat healthy 95% of the time, you’re bound to be eating more chicken than the average human & it gets hard to eat sometimes ( at least for me - -> #notafan) but diced, it’s really easy to eat with rice/quinoa & can marinade into all kinds of different flavors. I never post personal shit, so forgive me in advanceπŸ™πŸ». A little over a year ago, I was in a silent fight, struggling to come back from a medically necessary, and very invasive surgery that had put me and my body through it. My whole body changed after that, and it was very hard to be put on my ass to heal, having been in the best shape of my life when I went on to the surgical table. Shortly after fully healing, I lost my Grandmother and 2 close friends...it was indescribably difficult to say the least. I decided January 1st, that it was time to set a reasonable goal for 2018, and today this is me, no editing/no filter...just me. I killed that 60lbs+ year goal in 5 months as of today!!! I am stronger in more ways than 1 today, than I was before my surgery. **Snatch grip deadlift PR and a mind made up**

About three months ago I was in a conversation and I said I’d probably never hit any lifetime PRs (personal records) again. For those that are new here, I currently weigh a little over 225. I used to weight 298 (albeit a round 298). But I was very strong then. To give you an idea, that’s 3 weight classes difference in competitions. I had said that I was never going to be that strong again. The person I was talking to called me out on my shit attitude. She was right. 100%. β€œIf you say it’s impossible, then it is...to you”. β€’
β€’
That kind of β€œI can’t” thinking stops progress dead in its tracks. It’s you walking out to the car and deflating the tires before the road trip even starts. You just can’t get far with flat tires and a horseshit negative attitude. Nothing is as powerful as a mind made up. β€’
β€’
Needless to say, I hadn’t hit and PRs in a long time. So. I fixed my attitude. I changed my thoughts. Changed what I chose to believe about myself. Changed the narrative in my head. Changed my behavior to align with the new normal I was creating in my head. I essentially inflated my tires and the got the fuck to work. β€’
β€’
The result? A ton of PRs recently. 315x27 bench. 545x8 deadlift. 545 3x3 squat. 455x15 squat. 500x10 squat. 385x10 bench. 315x23 beltless bent row and this 455x11 snatch grip deadlift are the highlights. A lot of these have come during the small cutting phase I’m in. Bragging? I don’t think so. Proud? You bet your ass I am. I worked extremely hard-physically-for each of these. The best part though? The mental barriers smashed. The lines erased. The limitations removed. Achievement unlocked. However you say it, it’s a level up. β€’

Nothing is as powerful as a mind made up. What your mind gets made up about is your choice. Choose wisely. Get excited. Stay excited.

Each training session offers the opportunity to get immediately into the moment, and be extremely present. All the problems, all the worries, all the outside stressors instantly fall away. All we are left with is challenge, the opportunity to break mental and physical barriers, and improve. A good training session is essentially two hours of flow, therapy, a lesson in being present, giving your best effort, and working toward your vision of a greater you. β€’
