When you see comparison or transformation photos you only see two points in time.
What's missing is the nonlinear path it took to get from point A to point B.
What's missing is the lifestyle mentality that shows my journey does not stop at point B.
My nonlinear path, to date, has included developing a healthy lifestyle, being hit with a few bouts of lupus, losing all muscle and dropping to 110 pounds (twice), rebuilding my strength after sickness and not being able to bench the bar anymore, months of bodybuilding prep, off season fat and weight gain, slight body dysmorphia, rebuilding confidence, a wedding, a dog, a house, LIFE.
Comparing yourself to the "successes" you see on social media is ineffectual. You dont know their story and, even if you did, yours won't be the same. And when you can accept the idea that your journey never ends, you will never stop growing.
