Who knew that 2xu's are said '2timesu'.... makes more sense but my mind is BLOWN.
So I've finally been able to run without my knee giving me hell. So back to the training!
On week 2 day 1, with some run/walk intervals and short sprints. First week was hell, with my run pace sitting at about 7.30. Today was a little easier and I was able to stick just at 6.58... buuutttt I was wearing the wrong shoes... So my legs are probably gonna ache all day now. Yay. Hopefully getting back to the 6.30 pace by next week... and I'll remember my Ghosts. 💪🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

🕵️Did you know the seated cable row (on the floor) is great for isolating and activating the upper back muscles? I use this exercise occasionally to warmup up my lats and prepare them for the work ahead. If you don’t feel upper back activation while performing compound pulling movements then start with these before your training routine. See instructions below⬇️

1️⃣Set the appropriate weight on the weight stack and attach a close grip bar or V-bar to the seated row machine✅
.
2️⃣Grasp the bar with a neutral grip (palms facing in)✅
.
3️⃣Keeping your legs slightly bent and your back straight, pull the weight up slightly off the stack. You should be sitting straight upright with your shoulders back. This is the starting position✅
.
4️⃣Keeping your body in position, pull the handle into your stomach✅
.
5️⃣Pull your shoulder blades back, squeeze, pause, and then slowly lower the weight back to the starting position✅
.
6️⃣Repeat for desired reps✅
.
🔥Pro Tip🔥
Pausing and squeezing at the top of the movement for a 1-2 count will increase intensity and results☑️

Debiuty w Trójboju siłowym już za mną. Dużo emocji, stres związany z wagą i oczywiście podejsciami, ilość osób która wtedy tam była, zawodnicy- to wszystko tworzyło niesamowitą atmosferę. 8 na 9 podejść zaliczonych więc było całkiem dobrze. Szkoda że na chwilę obecną dźwigam zbyt mało żeby móc rywalizować o jakieś dobre miejsce ale mam nadzieję że na to przyjdzie jeszcze czas. Udało się ustalic mój nowy rekord w ciągach ale o tym może w innym poście. Teraz czas na chwilę odpoczynku, uspokojenie głowy i wyciągnięcie wniosków.

Current physique is going well i’d have to say. People always ask what my goals are or tell me not to get “too big” the truth is this isn’t anywhere close to my end goals. My original goal from a long time ago was to be 200lbs and be decently lean. Well this is me around 205lbs and i feel like i accomplished that goal. My next goal would have to be at least 212lbs lean. And go on from that. See where i’m at and how i feel and make changes and keep going. I’m only 23 and i have a lot to learn in fitness. Fitness is always my saver and escape i can be stressed or upset and cure it with a gym session its something i’m passionate about but at the end of the day my family and my moves in life to be better and live a better life are always going to come first. Bodybuilding will always be here for me. .

This is the highlight reel of today. These few lifts. I look at my highlight reel and still see all the flaws and things I need to work on. Which is okay, because at least I can look at myself and see what can use improvement. But, a lot of times I need to take a step back and remember that I'm still pretty new to weightlifting and there will always be improvements to be made. I have a lot of practice to look forward to. 😁 Also, part of who I am is that I'm never fully satisfied. I'll never get to a point where I don't find something about my performance to be critical about. I'm learning to find a balance between critiquing myself and enjoying the process. I love lifting. We all have that one part of our body that makes us insecure. The part you work hardest at the gym and still it's always a struggle. For me that's my legs. Genetically I have big legs and a portionally small upper body. I also hold almost all my body fat in my legs. I can never find pants that fit. I have always had cellulite on my thighs. I can't tell you how much I've cried out of sheer frustration about these issues. But since I've started lifting and more recently body building, I have worked hard on my legs. Today is the first day in a long time that I am proud of how my legs look. The diet, the workouts, the drive to never quit, the need for improvement, and my gym family, finally got me here. I know this post is stupid long, but I just want other people to know to never fucking give up on your dreams. Get back up and fight for what you want, but be wise enough to step back and take a new approach when you fail repeatedly. In a month I start my cut for my 1st show and I'm freaking terrified! But I have gotten this far and I'm so excited to see what I can do. I'm not perfect, I have really bad anxiety, I still struggle with depression, and let's not mention my issues with body dismorphia and Hashimotos thyroiditid. I will do this or throw up white fish and broccoli while trying.
