Your heart stopped.
No no no, you thought, there's millions of other people with your name in the world, right?
But pictures of you under your name confirmed that you were the Google result for Tom's girlfriend.
"What the hell? How the hell? Are you two actually dating and you didn't tell me?" Quinn stammered.
"I don't know! I don't know! And no!" "Then how did it happen?"
You ran a hand through your hair in aggravation, "I told you already, I don't know!"
But, inside your head, you were wondering the exact same thing.
Maybe what you said at thanksgiving had something to do with it. No, your great aunt didn't have the ability to do something like this.
But someone did...
You called every adult that was at Thanksgiving before taking a quick snack break, or dinner break. Quinn had canceled her plans for the night and came over to see what was going on.
"So," she flounced back holding a pizza you guys had ordered, "None of your family members knew what happened?"
"None of the adults did" you grabbed a slice, "I still have a whole list of cousins and second cousins to call."
She groaned dramatically "This is taking FOREVER"
She grabbed the list and scanned it, "we just have to narrow it down and call the most probable first."
She bit into her pizza "So, would Kellie do this?" She asked, her mouth still full of food.
"No, Kellie could care less about me and my life."
"Jordan, ooh, I like that name. Is he cute?"
"Jordan is a she, and yes she's cute, it runs in the family. No, she's not a suspect."
Quinn flopped backward onto the floor, "What about Chris?"
You shot to your feet "Yes! Chris is a total loser and loves messing around with technology, plus he's always hated me for whatever reason!"
After looking you up and down, Quinn said, "Maybe he hates the way you dress, because he's not the only one"
You rolled your eyes and grabbed the phone.
After ringing a few times, someone picked up the phone.
"Hello?" A woman's voice said.
"Hey Auntie Geraldine, could I talk to Chris please?"
