What we do tell our clients is this.....
The body is super smart, it tells you everything you need to know, you just have to learn to listen and feel! It's all about the optimal line. Below the optimal line is "too little" and above the optimal line is "too much", both will effect your recovery negatively, so make sure you're working optimally
Key indicators for us of too little activity in recovery are stiffness, low level aching, puffiness, new mobility and flexibility impairments. Key indicators for us of too much activity in recovery include swelling, increasing pain levels, fatigue, cramping and referred pain. We help you guide your rehab through your bodies signals.
If you take your time, listen to your body in your recovery, you'll know when you are ready to return to sport.
