I love looking back! Just enough to remember what I have been through to become who I am. Always remembering where I can from to get to where I am today. Acknowledging the sacrifice, choices, failures, and hard work.
I don’t like to say that I have regrets but when I look back there are clearly things I would have done differently. But each of those choices or circumstances has made me who I am today!
Today I read something that stuck with me. “Being brave is knowing that you will eventually fail and still going all in.” And earlier I heard that we need to start thinking and acting today like the person we want to be in 5 years.
These both fit together so nicely and had me really thinking about where I am going and what I need to stop thinking about and take action on.
Think about the last 5 years, it flew by. But then think about the way you acted and thought. The scary realization is that today you are acting and thinking the same way. How in the world will you be a different person in 5 years, in a different pace if you continue to act and think the way you are today- the way you always have.
I know it’s scary and uncomfortable. But be brave. Go all in and know you will fail at some point but you will come back so much stronger and better.
