To my loyal customers, who I think of as friends.
Due to a situation beyond my control, my business and livelihood, The Domesticated Wild Child, is in danger of tanking. I reach out to you today with my heart on my sleeve and my pride stashed away. Below is a somewhat long post, the first of its kind and hopefully the last.
Here is why:
I am being dragged through the judicial system for a situation in which I was not found at fault - but technicalities, overly aggressive laws with discretionary interpretation, and thousands of dollars in fees at every turn are tearing me down, bit by bit. I am unable to get to most of my markets and events. As things stand my business will not survive this ordeal. I will have no other choice but to close up shop – which would absolutely break my heart.
Here is what I desperately need from you.
Please shop from me. Please ask your friends and family to shop from me. Share all the things you love about my products, your personal testimonies, favorite products, etc. on social media. Please stock up: think ahead to gifts for teachers, birthdays, weddings, baby showers, holidays and more. Perhaps there is something you will need in the fall or winter - many of my products have a long shelf life of up to 2 years.
I am 100% relying on these customer sales to keep The Domesticated Wild Child afloat, my daughter in school and our family from financial ruin.
What I will give back in return:
Besides my unfaltering devotion to provide you with the best products, customer service, and the most sincere thanks one can offer, I’d like to offer something tangible. You can use the code MERCY to receive a discount to be used in my Etsy shop beginning November 1st.
Please find the rest of the post in the comments as it exceeded space allowed.
