Another month, another climb of Kelso Ridge. Stellar route conditions, June weather in December, and unexpectedly strong performance meant an otherwise slog of a route turned into all-day joy. I had the route all to myself until the very end, catching up to these two right before the final knife edge crux, shown here. Last month it was a scary and icy straddle-scoot that I'd rather block from memory. Today I quite simply walked across it without a care in the world.
Only January, February, and March left in the calendar grid, then I can go back to posting about fun things I haven't posted about a half dozen other times!
