So, money. I'd say a place like Hotel des Artists would be pretty expensive back home. Yesterday we had lunch, drinks, and two desserts there for about $14. (And that was a big treat, bc usually we pay about $1.50-2 for a meal.) As for housing, our fully furnished, lovely apartment is $350. We could easily be paying half that if we would have spent more time shopping around. All of which is to say that we are not trust fund babies and that we are actually saving money by renting out our place and living and working here. (We work part time on our laptops). Perhaps its rude or odd to talk about money on Instagram, but I want to be transparent about how the economics work, since a few folks have asked. Happy to share more about location independence and the digital nomad movement. There are so many resources that helped us get started, and if I can help anyone out, I'm happy to.
