I see this condition quite a lot and always get asked about it. Milia are small, bump-like cysts found under the skin. They are usually 1 to 2 millimeters (mm) in size.
They form when skin flakes or keratin, a protein, become trapped under the skin.
Milia most often appear on the face, commonly around the eyelids and cheeks, though they can occur anywhere. In most cases, milia will disappear on their own within a few months. Always cleanse your skin twice a day, use a good moisturiser (preferably with retinol), and remember guys always exfoliate, protect your skin from the sun. Prevention is key!! Always speak to your Dermatologist if you have any skin concerns.
