Things got a little hectic yesterday finishing all the work and getting this van packed for our winter adventures. Last picture shows our cozy home before we put all our stuff in to make the journey, lots of stuff all over right now and will need to reorganize when we get out there. But everything is in lol 😂

Supposedly last week there was an official “Buy Nothing” day. I did not adhere to it, but I do have a friend who has been inspiring me to shop less. Plus, our church has been talking about the American impulse to shop. It is quite interesting to be aware of how much we purchase and bring into the home.
Did you know that the average American household has around 300,000 items in it! Isn’t that crazy to think about! I mean, 300,000 items! That is a ton of stuff! Because we move frequently, we purge quite often. But, if we went and added it all up, I bet we would end up on the average side.
