What are the different variables you use for progression?

While reps, sets and weights are generally used, REST between sets can also be used as a progression variable.
In the picture above, I did interval running of 200m * 6 sets. In the left hand side, I rested for 1.15min and in the right side it's 30sec rest. While I could finish 200m in 50sec with longer rest period, it took 54sec with shorter rest period. If I can finish faster with shorter rest periods over a period of time, it's a PROGRESSION.

Rest is a great variable to use for progression in interval running!!! #running #runningprogram

Fitness tip: working out with a friend is always better than working out alone. Just make sure you get an actual workout in 😂 (video was taken 4 months ago, just in case your notice the extra fluff) since starting this prep I have been focused on strictly weight lifting and SOOO much cardio. Today’s leg session was so intense but felt so accomplished afterwards. Before I started I done 30 mins of ankle mobility, hip mobility and hip opening exercises before moving onto some banded pre glute activation. 15 reps of clam shells (each leg), 100 frog pumps and 15 meters of band walks (each leg).
These exercises are one of my favourites and my go to for really getting the glutes going.
12 reps of lunges with knee ups. When doing this exercise try keep a tall chest, straight back and drive through the front heel, squeezing your opposite quad as you lift upwards.
15 weighted curtsy lunges. One of the most underrated type of lunge in my opinion. It targets the whole leg but really focusing on inner quad and glute. Travelling?

Ab diet kaise hoga?

Well, here are few travel tips: - Track Calories using a tracking app. Soon coming on fittr
- Eggs, Nuts( Amonds/ Walnuts/ Peanuts), Cheese cubes, Instant Oats, Rice/ Roti are easily available or you may carry most of them.
- If you are at a party, you may have grilled food which comes in starters like tikkas, kebabs. You may soak out the excess oil using a tissue just to ensure you don’t go overboard on Calories
- Eat less before the party and keep the Calories in reserve
- For workouts, you could do push-ups, pull ups, squats, split squats, lunges, planks, leg raises. These all could be done in a circuit fashion to quickly complete it without making a sound.

Tip of the Day: Giving up is easy but you aren’t that weak. You are stronger than the excuse in your mind

If you are like me and don't have access to a sled you have to get creative.🤔 The big advantage of doing this pseudo sled exercise using exercise band is that you can easily transition into a spiderman position.
Just allow the knees to travel to the sides of the body.😯
