#RoamingTaiwan: Yehliu Geopark 1/2.
Yehliu is a cape of about 1,700 meters long formed by Datun Mountain in Wanli District, New Taipei City. The cape's rock layers of sandstone that are expose to sea and weathering caused a lot of rock formation in the area. The famous one is the Queen's Head - named after its similarity to Queen Elizabeth I which took 4000 years to form. The Queen's Head is so popular that it has become the symbol of Yehliu village as it was recognized the most recognized rock formation in the park. Aside from rock formations, Yehliu Geopark has a vast seaside scenery and vista that will surely delight any nature-lover visitors. Travel time to the park is 2 hours via direct bus from Taipei and entrance fee to the park is 80NTW per person.
