Exercise and limiting stress, will help food to move in your body, and keep you regular.
🍓 Drink at least 2-3 litres of water everyday, eat your water by consumption of melons 🍉, zucchini, strawberries 🍓.
🥪 🥔 Eating slowly so that you breakdown the food easily is very important.
🌽 🥛 Gluten and dairy are huge culprits, try to eliminate or try to avoid 2-3 times a week.
🍐 🥦 Consuming high fibre, fermented foods are good to keep you regular. ✨💊 Take supplements like probiotics, collagen, magnesium, HCL will repair your gut.

It’s Monday, so let’s talk about #dessert: Wondering what to do when the #sweetcravings hit? Make some #healthy, #lowFODMAP & #dairyfree CHOCOLATE CHIA PUDDING 🍫

Here’s how (for 2):
• 2 tbsp chia seeds
• 200ml oat milk
• ⅔ banana
• 2 tsp cacao (*)
👉 blend all the ingredients together & let it thicken in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.
Serve with some coconut flakes. And if you’re not as strict as me this week, you could also add a few chilli chocolate pumpkin seeds like here (I found these at the @slowfoodmarket_ch).
(*) Same with the cacao. If you want no added sugar, go for a sugar-free one. I made this one last week with @chillchoc.world Double Choc which I got at the @veggie_freivon to try. (#FODMAP note: there’s normal sugar in it, but I was fine with it!)

💁‍♀️#fodmaps are poorly digested meaning they stay in the digestive tract and continue to the large intestine (or colon) & eventually get flushed away.

🐛 As the pass through the colon they are FERMENTED by the healthy bacteria that reside there. This keeps the bacteria nourished & is a good thing, but it creates gas as a side effect.

🤰If you have a sensitive tummy or IBS this gas can cause pain, bloating, embarrassing wind & even distort nerve endings that manage how fast the bowel pushes things through.

#Tonkatsu vibe😋 Deep fried breaded pork loin & deep fried breaded mozzarella wrapped with thinly sliced pork loin.
Only 3 steps 😉 : Dredge each cutlet in flour(mixed with corn starch) ➡️ dip into beaten eggs ➡️ press into bread crumbs to coat both sides. (I used homemade sourdough breadcrumbs🍞) .

When it’s hot, the last thing I feel like doing is eating. I often feel bogged down by extra weight when I eat because of my IBS issue. That’s why I turn to things like this and salads for lunch. three ingredient fried rice bc im not at home

heat oil toss in fresh ginger, crushed pepper corn, cumin, herbs until fragrant. add small brussels sprouts split in half cook until very well done, add a lil more oil, whisk two eggs until soft looking, push herb and brussels sprouts mix to side and allow egg whisk to cook on one side of pan until it is mostly not runny but still a little runny, top w more pepper, salt, other spices if u want, mix all together, add day old rice(not fresh too wet), dump tons of tamari on top mix mix mix until combined and not wet. of course u can sub any veg or proteins and top w all sorts of sauces seeds or nuts but i did not. yay

Meal prep Sunday is back! Trying to eat mostly low FODMAP this week. What’s low FODMAP? Basically it’s a long acronym for a diet for people trying not to be bloated and gassy. 😲 Yup, I said it. I’m gassy! (At least when I eat mostly veggies). Last week’s meal pep was high fiber, high vegetable, and high FODMAP, (ie bloat city). So, I’m attempting a new plan this week to deuce bloat and that other word that I’d rather not mention again. 😜 Veggies are still present but not the forefront this week.
