St Louis, you are beautiful in very unique ways. So many amazing looking restaurants, old buildings, beautifully kept parks and so much history. Our hotel was Union Station, it use to be a railway station, the outside looked like a castle, and it had a grand hall with a light show, and an outdoor one with fire and lights on a pond. The place was really clean and they even allow the dogs to stay. There is even a dog park attached, but we never found it. The downside to such a cool place... a ton of walking because of how big it is. There was also a parade out front for Veterans Day that we got to see, and we were given American Flags while we watched Vets in Vettes. We tried to go see the Arch, but that was a mess and we never made it. Traffic and parking was a nightmare, Bryan kept thinking the turn lanes where bike lanes because they were so small. Apparently parking is cash everywhere, even in places you wouldn’t suspect you’d have to pay. So we decided to go back to the hotel and get a Lyft, and we went to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery for their tour. We saw the horses and got a couple of beers, the tour guides were engaging and funny, it was a great tour. Later on we walked over to Maggie O’Briens bar from our hotel, the place looked dark, lonely and empty, but around 10:30pm people flooded in. It got packed, fast, but I was so tired by then, we didn’t make it long. Overall St Louis, you weren’t bad, you had great pizza, lots of cool sites, and I got to see it snow! – K .
