I may have overdone it with my massive strength session on Saturday. My back hurts a little from deadlifts as I probably went slightly too heavy and my form might not have been the best for the last few reps, annoying cos deads are my best lift! Anyway stretching and foam rolling has helped, along with a rest day yesterday. Keen for some HIIT this evening! Feeling hungrier than ever to get back into it.
Weighed myself this morning and was happy that I’d only put on roughly 3.5kg.
Still feeling puffy from my flight but I know it will go down eventually.
I enjoyed all of the foods America had to offer but now it’s time to pull myself back into line and get back to where I was pre holiday

Ramekin chocolate cake recipe for 2:
1/4c coco powder
1/4tsp baking soda
1/8tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp milk
1 tbsp warm coffee
Instructions for cake:
Combine dry ingredients and mix well. Combine wet ingredients separately and mix well. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then separate into two greased ramekins and bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes. ══════════════════════════════
Frosting recipe: ══════════════════════════════
1 cup mini marshmallows
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
Instructions for frosting:
Melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Add the chocolate chips stirring constantly until a chocolatey paste forms. Remove from heat and transfer into a bowl. Use an electric hand mixer to mix in confectioners sugar and almond milk if needed to achieve a frosting consistency (you should be able to lift the mixer out of the bowl and the frosting does NOT drip off!).

So on days like this I'm supposed to eat more calories but I'm still ending today close to my "normal" amount. Oh well I'll figure it out eventually. It really sucks cause on my days off/not so active days that's when I want to actually eat big amounts and lots of times during the day lol.
