The truth of the matter is that, no matter what “diet” you’re following, macronutrients matter. •Your Fad Diet, is based on macronutrients (yes, even whole 30 has portions of protein/carbs/fats) •If you want to lose weight, you will eventually need to pay attention to protein/carbs/fats once your metabolism adapts and you can’t drop your calories any lower •Want to maintain or gain muscle to help your metabolism stay strong as you age? You can’t simply wish that those random calories will be turned into lean body mass - you’ll need to insure you’re consuming enough.....protein/carbs/fats •If you’ve figured out a way for your body to not follow the laws the physics, lemme know. •See last comment...You’re not a superhero. Sorry. •Blogs, Facebook posts, Bikini competitors who’ve done a single show, Instagram pages with a billion followers because of their abs/big ole booty, nor your mother (sorry, mom) are going to give you a solid understanding of why you can’t ignore Macronutrients...clean eating isn’t enough (don’t shoot the messenger!) you CAN over consume “clean foods” and not lose weight. It’s pretty basic medical science.
