Life can be alot like a crying child.
You might have just put them to sleep but it starts to become agitated and doesn't sleep, do leave the baby to keep crying or do you tend to it to make it better?
Our thoughts can work similar to this.
We can be so close to being happy but then these thoughts and challlanges can come along in our life which make us agitated and live an unhealthy life.
I'll tell you something, the reason we get these thoughts is because we are unsure to what that happiness could bring in the long run.
Our brain does not want to recognize how our happiness could end one day because it is unsure how it will affect us in the long run.
Subconsciously we feel like it is a better idea to keep ourselves in the pits because that way you can't be pushed back down right?
This is just a feeling that you need to break out of because the feeling of not thinking you will ever be happy, is the reason you cannot be truly happy.
With light we can all see where we are, we know what's happening around us and we trust what we see but when unexpected darkness comes along we can't see anything, we are unaware because we can't feel what's in front of us and we simply feel lost.
But the amazing thing is when you find your light again then you are able to see everything again, and this time you have a new perspective on this, you don't take things you could see before for granted anymore.
Those simple things that you couldn't see were merely steps towards you growing and expanding your consciousness and happiness.
