Let’s talk about “motivation”🔥
I’m now sitting at under 8 weeks out and the crunch has started.
Between work, training, studying, meal prep, and taking care of my puppy, I generally tend to feel low on time and tired, especially now that my carbs are lowered and cardio is increased but none of that matters.
What matters is that I have a goal, and that I’m pushing myself to reach it regardless of whatever else is happening.💥
Motivation is flaky- it comes and goes in waves depending on your mood, sleep, weather, and a million other variables. It’s unreliable.
What is reliable is your desire to achieve your goals, so use that to build yourself a routine, and just follow it- really as simple as that.🤷🏽♀️
Once you create a routine, whether or not you get yourself to the gym, do your cardio, or eat properly will no longer depend on motivation, but it’s simply part of your day, just something you do.
Brushing your teeth or going to work doesn’t depend on your motivation, it’s just part of your routine- so apply that to whatever your goals are and take the first step!💪🏼
