Finally had the time to gather my thoughts on this amazing sunscreen.
I'm sure you've heard about sunscreen and sunblock. Back then, I really didn't know the difference. After research and inquiries to my derma I learned the difference. Sunblock is a physical barrier and as the term states - it blocks UVB or the ultraviolet radiation that leads to burning of the skin. Sunscreen naman protects our skin from UVA or that type of exposure that leads to aging. So for me, it is important to get both protection from one product.
I also learned through research that SPF, or the Sun Protector Factor, is the math as to the amount of UV radiation it takes before our skin burns under the sun. I don't want to get into details on this because I haven't really comprehended the research materials I found on how it is computed. To make it simple, the higher the SPF, the longer it can protect our skin, requiring less reapplication.
I was so happy to confirm that the @cellfusionc_kr sunscreen which I got from @charis_celeb contains both ingredients that can protect the skin from UVA and UVB (contains Zinc Oxide) - which is perfect because we need protection from both. Some products are just for UVB while others are just for UVA. So it is important to find a product that can do both.
For someone like me who plans to get pregnant again.. reading the label is a must. I was lucky enough to confirm that this sunscreen does not contain Oxybenzone.. An ingredient that may contribute to low birth weight of infants. Although there is no clear and definite link, I don't plan to go through that risk so I won't be using a product that contains such chemical. But since this sunscreen is free from Oxybenzone, this sunscreen will stay in my rotation. Swipe for the ingredients.
Now going into my experience.. I like the hydration level I get from this sunscreen. It is creamy and easy to spread on my skin. As compared to my Belo Sunexpert Tinted Sunscreen, the Cell Fusion feels so much creamier and easier to work with when blending out. It does not dry quickly so I take my time during application.
