Ja hoi, ik loop nog. Hier bijvoorbeeld een duurloop schmuurloop langs de Maas en alles. Het was er één van het kaliber: ik had ook gewoon de fiets kunnen nemen. Net als al die wielrenners en e-bejaarden. Of voor mijn part de boot, want ik ga elke km dood. 😬😅

Honored to run the 2nd annual Corporal Cole Half Marathon for the second year. Fellow Maine Marathon Ambassador Katie Daggett ran as well. She and I just keep “running” into each other! 😂 😂 I ran a negative split on the back half and crossed the finish line in 1:55:58. Not a PR for me but a PR on the hilliest half marathon course I have ever run so I am very happy. Mrs. Cole herself gave me my medal as I crossed the finish line. I cried! Thank you, Corporal Cole. Day 10 of Plank Challenge is the Forearm Hip Dips 45 secs. x 3 Rounds
I opted for a little upper body challenge and held a tricep push-up hold during the hip dips. I taught spin this morning and maxed out my legs, so I definitely needed some upper body balance.

Well, that was gross. I've gotten used to the cooler mornings, and OF COURSE, the day I'm scheduled to do my long run we're back to SUMMER. Over it.
Half marathon every week challenge complete, week 14. That was really tough. I've ran 8 miles every day this week, and I wasn't sure I'd be able to compete the challenge this week. That's the thing about being out of town though, I've really enjoyed exploring different areas, so not being bored helped me through. 💪on to the next one. Taking it easy tomorrow FOR SURE.

6 mi steady state run. Target pace 8:05-8:15. I was a few seconds fast, but a good steady run overall. Now I’m headed to the gym and then to see the broadway play Hamilton! 🎭

Laatste vakantie dag. Op naar een oplaadweekend met de leukste. Maandag weer naar school, groep 8 en groep 5 en zelf ook weer aan het werk. Na het herseninfarct dat geen herseninfarct bleek te zijn word ik ingesteld op nieuwe meds en hoop ik eindelijk weer in m’n eigen routine te komen. Langzaam weer energie terug, lopen lukt weer. Oh heyyyyyy. Here is a photo of me running the last 4.5 miles of my 6 mile run yesterday after work. L crashed my morning workout session and was only interested in his toast and cars for 15 min, so I did the second part after work when he was tucked into bed again. •

I do not always feel like running! Especially after a ten hour shift with one break that lasted exactly 18 minutes. But the thing is, if you wait around until the perfect moment to move your body, you just won’t do it. There’s NEVER enough time, you guys! And if there is, you probably feel like putting your feet up and drinking a beer. So write it down, hold yourself to it, and get to work.

9 mi tempo run! 3:00 a.m. came early 😂! Goal was 1 mi 🆙, 2 x 3 mi @ 7:35-7:50 w/ .25 jog between. 2 mi cd. It wasn’t easy, but I got it done. Had to take a short walk after the 2nd 3 mi interval. (Swipe) Happy Thursday!!

Every tough workout pulls you one step closer to your goal. I had a big one today. When I was hurting I pictured the Chicago finish line with my goal time on the clock. This is something that almost always does the trick for me. I can even find myself flooded with emotion, which only makes me realize how bad I want it. Anyone else tear up when they picture the finish line? -
Today’s workout was 13.9 miles total. Warmup, 4 miles @GMP (6:25ish), 2x2miles, cool. 90 second recoveries. Paces in story. 💥 -
