Hannah and Dan are both Penn State Alumni. Not only that, they both graduated from State College in the same year, and in the same MAJOR! Yet they never met one another. Following graduation, Hannah moved back to Pittsburgh and was on the hunt for a place to live and a roommate. It didn't take long until she found both. As fate would have it, Hannah's new roommate had a really good friend named Dan. Thus, Hannah and Dan could no longer avoid the inevitable meeting and as their paths began to cross more frequently, they hit it off right away. It was't long until they became roommates themselves, and started their life together at the Heinz Lofts in the Northside.
These two both share a great love for the Steel City - so that was an important component they wanted to weave into the pieces of their wedding day. The chose the iconic Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel as the backdrop for their classic, elegant celebration and both could not wait to have all of their family and friends together in one place to celebrate with them.
It was not Pittsburgh's finest day weather wise - uncharacteristically cold for the time, dreary, and raining. Yet somehow - it was fitting for a Pittsburgh themed day AND it graciously stopped raining just long enough for some outdoor portraits, and an emotional first look atop a nearby parking garage. But truly, the weather could not have mattered less because Hannah radiated light and joy and warmth from every ounce of her being. From the moment she walked into the hotel room until the end of the night when SHE sent US home with a bottle of wine and thank you card from her own wedding. We still pinch ourselves to be sure this day was real. And we want to bottle up the vibes from this wedding, and this couple, to tap into for the rest of time.
Enjoy perusing some of our favorites from this most joyous celebration - guaranteed to bring a smile to your face in the way only Hannah and Dan can do! Congratulations to his jubilant, gracious, one of a kind couple!
