Before I started installing @uponorna Ecoflex pre-insulated pex for my heating system distribution (see posts) I had installed this pipe from Rovanco. It’s called Rhinoflex .
Why in the friggin marketing world they arrived at that name is beyond me. The rhino part I can understand, the jacket is as tough as a rhino but “flex”? No. There is nearly zero flex. This stuff is not only super heavy it’s also stiffer than a 2x4. It’s delivered in custom cut lengths, the coil is shipped on an open flatbed semi-trailer direct and is easily 6’-7’ in diameter because of the stiffness .
