The easiest answer is rarely the answer for anything. The choice that scares you the most is usually the right one.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Almost 3 years ago, I was not happy with myself. I wasn’t taking care of myself like I should, was overweight, and didn’t like the way I looked. I was searching for “that thing” that would turn it around for me. I checked out weight loss meal delivery programs and watched tons of infomercials on health and weight loss products. But I never pulled the trigger to commit to any of them. It was easier to just “watch” rather than “do” because what if it failed? What if I failed? Plus, I didn’t know if I really wanted to make a financial commitment for something I “should” be able to do on my own. But…I was using all of these things as excuses, I now realize.
Finally, just at the right time, the opportunity presented itself to join up with a group of women all working on their health and fitness. Something in me just clicked and I decided that this was going to be “it.” This was my time. I pulled the trigger and bought the exercise and nutrition program package that these women were all using and sharing their experiences. I found, through making this scary choice, a place where I could be honest about my fears, struggles, and challenges, and that has made all the difference in the success that I have had so far. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You see this shirt- it says “TEAM” Empowering You. We are a team, working toward a common goal, and we all need to feel part of something like that. I was never much of an athlete, but through making that ONE choice, I have found MY team, my support, my friends for life, that keep pushing me and supporting me. I’m so glad I found them.
If you want to be part of an experience like this, we’re always looking for more teammates!
