One of the most frustrating things I deal with when working with athletes is how some of them go MIA once the season starts negating the hard work they put in during the Off-Season.
I can not stress enough how important it is to lift during the season to Maintain strength and stay healthy. Any good coach will make sure the In-Season lift is different and less taxing then the Off-Season.
Here is @miketrout one of the hardest playing players in baseball (and arguably the best) talking about how he lifts during the season. He plays about 160 games a year at one of the most demanding positions in baseball, so stop using “I don’t want to get tired” as an excuse.
