I’m in a bad mood today, I’d go as far as to say I’m sulking! Today should’ve been the day my sister Sinead was coming with her gorgeous family to visit. BUT Ryanair unceremoniously cancelled the flights and to add insult to injury they cancelled all flights from Belfast until April!
But actually it’s made me sulk for a far bigger reason than them not being here for my birthday. 10 years ago this month we found each other for the first time. Bearing in mind she’s not 10 and nor am I you can start to see why this was a big deal.
I’m adopted and Sinead and my brother Jonny are the younger siblings I had never met but had an idea might exist.
I’m the big sister they had NO CLUE existed. So this weekend was double special it was our ten year sisterversary and was so important to me and @ryanair crumpled it.
We’ve been reminiscing lots and looking back over our first Facebook messages and we decided to write our story for our kids from two perspectives. It’s over on the blog now but you might need a tissue......
