“Just stay positive.” - No.
There are times in life, especially when we encounter a tough situation, we call upon our strength to stay positive. - Be mindful. A murky mind and blind positivity is a very dangerous thing.
In any circumstances, seek clarity first. It takes courage and total honesty with oneself to see things as they are, without any attachment or judgement.
Only when we are able to see things clearly, can we then sort out what works and what doesn’t. Deal with what doesn’t serve us, then shift our total energy and effort onto what works.
When we have true clarity, confidence comes natural. “Stay positive” is no longer just a mantra to we force upon ourselves. We will happily do so. Ya? 😉

1. Good coffee and chocolate is worth paying for⠀
2. Be patient. Put in the work, love and commitment and things will eventually happen. There's no such thing as an overnight success⠀
3. You don't always have to have everything figured out⠀
4. Whoever came up with the idea of turning nuts into butter is a genius⠀
5. Introducing more plants into your diet does not mean you have to cut out everything you're used to. The goal is to do and feel your best⠀
6. Don't spend energy on things or people that bring you negativity. Simply cut them out⠀
7. Smile and laugh more :)⠀
8. More veggies, fruits, berries = more energy, less stress⠀
9. Try to always put a positive light on situations. You can't always choose what happens, but you can choose how you react to it⠀
10. Don't take things too seriously⠀
11. Be kind. It goes a long way⠀
12. A good nights sleep can be very underrated⠀
13. Don't let fear stop you⠀
14. Don't get upset or annoyed over silly things. Let them go⠀

Weil man sich im Nachhinein nur an besondere Dinge erinnert, nicht aber so sehr an den Alltag. Deshalb gibt es einen einfachen Trick, aus dieser Misere auszubrechen: Unvertrautes tun, erste Male finden. Winzige Kleinigkeiten. Weil Dinge, die wir zum ersten Mal erleben, sich „länger“ anfühlen als Dinge, die wir schon hundertmal erlebt haben. Und nirgends steht, dass erste Male ein Privileg der Jugend sind, also warum nicht mal einen anderen Weg zur Arbeit nehmen? Oder jedes Mal im Restaurant ein neues Gericht ausprobieren. An unbekannte Orte reisen. Unbekanntes ausprobieren und sich neu erfinden – so oft es geht.

Hvordan lever du din sadhana hver eneste dag? 💫

Sadhana er din daglige spirituelle praksis. Det kan lyde farligt, hvis du ikke betragter dig selv som en der “tror” eller er spirituel. Men i sin essens betyder det blot, at du tager tid hver dag til at praktisere teknikker så som meditation, yoga, chanting, åndedrætsøvelser eller læse hellige bøger. At være spirituel betyder ikke at du skal løbe væk fra det liv, du lever eller forkaste alle dine materielle ting (så som munke gør). Vi må ikke glemme, at vi er spirituelle væsner, som har en menneskelig oplevelse, og derfor er det menneskelige liv en del af din spirituelle rejse.
Her er par gode råd til din daglige Sadhana:

Vær bevidst
- vær bevidst om det du oplever gennem dine sanser
- vær bevidst om behov og følelser omkring dig
- vær bevidst om dine følelser
- spis, gå og ager med bevidsthed
- tag bevidste valg

Vær i nuet
- vær til stede med dine tanker, ord og handlinger
- accepter nuet uden at beklage fortiden
- skab den fremtid du gerne vil have ved at være fuldt tilstede i nuet
- giv slip på forventninger og omfavn uvisheden
- vær åben for uendelige muligheder
Nyd stilheden
- brug tid på at meditere i stilhed hver dag
- brug tid i naturen
- lær at lytte

Vær taknemmelig - anerkend mulighederne i alt
- begynd hver dag med taknemmelighed
- øv dig i at tilgive
- “tak” er et vigtigt mantra at kunne
Elsk
- send kærlighed til alle du møder
- elsk dig selv
- tillad dig selv at blive elsket
- lad kærlighed være fundamentet for alle dine handlinger

12/12 ENERGY
Today is a culmination day of the energy that began on 1/1 of this year, beginning to draw 2018 to a close.  It’s a time to bring back to mind, what you set for your year ahead and reflect on what has transpired.  Where are you at with your dreams and visions?  Perhaps they have come to pass, but quite differently to what you had envisioned. You might like to go through month by month and write down all you have created, beginning to wrap up the year, so that when we move forward to the New Year, you can look back in order to acknowledge all you’ve done.  Sometimes we forget all the little things unless we take the time to really reflect and take pen to paper.  It’s often way more than you realised.

I will be leading two very special practices on both New Years Eve, reflecting on the year thats been, honouring all that has happened, with ritual to close the year.

Then on 12th January I will be running a workshop to Create 2019 with Heart & Clarity.

Wir definieren uns nur über unsere Taten, unser Machen. Niemals nur über unser Sein, das in sich schon so perfekt ist. Wir müssen nichts tun, um so zu sein wie es von der Natur vorgesehen wurde. Wir müssen nicht den tollsten Job haben, die nächste Beförderung, den durchtrainierten Körper. Am Ende wird all dies nichts zählen.

Du wirst dich am Ende deines Lebens nicht dafür rühmen, was du alles getan hast sondern wie du warst. Warst du gütig, warst du liebevoll, hattest du ein offenes Herz? Wo könntest du heute mal aufhören zu tun und einfach mal wieder sein?

I love this time of year because it just feels all so sparkly ✨ the energy is lifting, people are drawing closer together, there’s socialising, reunions and laughter (the best medicine for the soul 🙌🏽) and of course, in the Southern Hemisphere the weather is turning it up 🙏🏽⠀

This was the most time I’ve spent back ‘home home’ in early December in as long as I can remember and it just felt so incredibly joyous. ⠀

Instead of feeling overwhelmed, the feeling this period can often induce, this time at home made me appreciate the little things that make this time of year so special - being with family + friends, reflecting + sharing, having presence + grace and of course the ocean.⠀

Being more grounded, more present, more aware of my immense blessings.⠀

That’s the attitude I hope we all take into this last little bit of the year. Amongst the undoubted chaos (hey travel delays, looking at you) and pressure to tick it all off before 2018 ends (just me?!) can we see the sparkle, the glistening magic and LOOK for the positives in each of these days, big or small ✨⠀

Practice the pause.

The difference between reacting and responding is awareness. Knowing you’re about to react in a way that’s unbecoming and having the ability to pause before you do it. Mindful awareness allows you to monitor your automatic reactions, so you can stop them before they become destructive. This kind of skill can be developed through daily mindfulness, because it will get you used to knowing what it feels like just before you do something you haven’t given much thought to.

⚡️8 WEEK WELLNESS CHALLENGE⚡️ 🧠💪✅ ✅ ✅

Back in August I picked up a chest infection abroad (cheers London 🇬🇧). It ending up knocking me for 6 and I didn’t exercise for 2 and a half months, I know....gutting. So when I felt better I got together with some mates and set up the 8 week wellness challenge for anyone who wanted to feel healthier by December.

Quick shout-out to all the legends that chose joined us on the 8 week wellness challenge 👏👏👏

Everyone set their own specific goals and only had to answer to themselves. Their commitment, discipline and determination all came from within and these intrinsic personal attributes have led everyone to be in a better place mentally and physically heading into the Christmas period! What if whenever you noticed yourself starting to criticize yourself, you said something kind instead?💕⠀

We’re all so hard on ourselves, and speaking negatively to ourselves is so pervasive that we don’t even necessarily realize we’re doing it when we’re doing it.⠀

But, what if when we did realize, we stopped ourselves. Just stopped. Mid-thought. And said something kind instead. ⠀

Even just a soft “you’re doing your best,” or “it’s okay, you’re learning,” or “you have time, you’ll figure it out.”⠀
