You know those moments when you get angry because you FEEL angry?!
As someone who's all about self development, when I feel negative emotions, I flip a tit because it's not a state of mind I want to be in. ♀️
I think "woah what ?! aren't I supposed to always be happy?! I read all these books, I meditate, I do yoga, I journal etc etc." I feel disappointment. But what I'm learning to do now is to accept the negative emotions instead of numbing it out. They're just as important as the good ones.
They help me learn about myself on a deeper level and course adjust.
Not feeling your happiest? Acknowledge it. Set the intention to move forward. And then let it go.
No need to beat yourself up about feeling less than perfect. There's reasoning and purpose behind every emotion & feeling. We're doing our best and that's all that matters.
