The next two lunar cycles bring the possibility for a few clear resolutions, the clarification and stabilization of some internal mixtures which have been stirring since this summer. Come January, all the outer planets and Mercury will be moving forward, bringing the possibility for a well-defined sense of cosmic agreement after their retrogrades. Until then, we might feel tired at the different parts of ourselves that are still uncomfortably knotted together or the strain of their disagreement.
This lunar cycle brings the start of this harmonic blending. The Sun and Moon are now in late Scorpio, in the Vedic Nakshatra of Visakha, bringing an atmosphere of intense focus. Visakha is often translated as 'one-pointed,’ invoking an archer’s unwavering aim at their target which can sometimes be harsh or self-centered. Vishakha forms a pair with the following Nakshatra, Anuradha, which is said to be the most friendly and devotional part of the sky. Thus, as we move towards the full moon, we can expect our dedication to become more inspired by love and generosity. The Vedas take Mitra, the God associated with Anuradha, to be the foundation of principles, contracts and agreements—‘Love is the Law.’ Mmm mmm mmm.
