I went for a walk with the puppies today. It was so nice out. I put on my favorite comfy pants that I got from Sams club a couple of years ago. I realized my whole outfit was probably only about $35. The shirt was on clearance at Dick’s Sporting Goods and the jacket came from Walmart and still has a little bit of sticker residue on it from when I wore it to the hospital last spring when Jake hurt his eye. I had a visitor sticker they put on me and then it went through the laundry like that
So, heads up Keith....a new little lightweight jacket is a nice Mother’s Day idea.. My workout clothes actually come from all different stores...from pricier like LuLu, Calia or Fabletics to Sams and Walmart. If I like something I’ll buy it in a couple different colors, because then I don’t have to shop as often.
Breakfast was...... Bison. 1/2 greenish banana (less sugar). Organic unsweetened Peanut butter.
I don’t post a lot about my meals these days because they are very basic and quite honestly pretty repetitive. They are pretty specific to my metabolic type and took me a while to figure out what works best with who I am. Why would I want do this?
Fitness is a lifestyle and not a destination....most of us have heard that before too.
This way that I am eating now is not forever, but I’m Being consistent with it in order to heal my digestive system, balance my hormones, improve my mental clarity, improve my metabolism, help with inflammation and arthritis pain. If my hypothyroidism goes away that would be a bonus too. I’m focusing on eating very nutrient dense foods. I won’t be indulging in a bowl of ice cream anytime soon but hopefully someday.
From my post to FB yesterday.......

Ever put your career on hold because of life events?
Have you ever had to wait for your spouse's career to tell you what you could do with vacations, buying a home, going to school, starting your own career?
Things were always up in the air with my husband's military career. Sometimes it felt like the anticipation the guessing what the future would hold with a move , an extension at an Army post or a deployment was never ending.
Just when he'd been retired from the Army for a couple of years and I thought things were stabilized and my salon was on it's way up.... SURPRISE!!!!.....We needed to move for his 2nd career.
On the PLUS side....I found the business that I am in now and I no longer have high overhead, a large investment, inventory to keep track of, complicated taxes or stress with what I do now.
Who wants to start all over again as an employee standing on their aching feet all day for just part of the profit?? My work as a coach has helped to improve my health on top of being a great fit for our life as nomads.....Haha! I can work on this business from anywhere I have access to the internet, even if I only have my phone with me.
Does this sound like something that would work for your life as well or to help supplement a job that you already love?
