I’ve had a few friends mention some symptoms to me and once I had them get tested, some people came back Lyme positive! It’s the ultimate imitator disease- taking on symptoms of many diseases and worsening most current conditions. I never saw the tick bite. After acute Lyme does away, it can lay dormant for years before Chronic Lyme wakes up! There are lots of symptoms of Lyme, some only experience one or two. These are some common ones. I experience about 3/4 of these daily. Some I don’t have- but many I do. I post this not only to give you an insight to my life but in case you have one or more of these symptoms. Not all Lyme tests are alike so make sure you get an accurate Lyme doctor doing the blood test.
All over pain, chronic joint pain and inflammation (Lyme arthritis), increased pain sensitivity, muscle stiffness and aches, never getting to deep sleep, sleep issues, memory and cognition issues, brain fog, tingling or numbness in extremities, muscle spasms, sensation of bugs crawling under skin, itchiness (for me in heat), fibromyalgia symptoms, cold sensitivity- or nerves interpret cold as straight pain, nerve confusion (sometimes cold or heat registers as “wet” or pain, or numbness), wind sometimes can send me into a pain flare up, on certain days and on certain parts of my body a slight poke can send a shock of pain throughout me, increases sensitivity to light and smell, urinary and bowel issues, menstrual cycle issues and feminine issues, migraines, pain in face and skull, dizziness, feeling heavy head and POTS symptoms, depression, blood sugar issues, Chronic fatigue, heart issues, Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s symptoms at times, Bell’s palsy symptoms, ADD, ADHD, depression, sometimes even bipolar, increased allergies, diabetes or other blood sugar issues, asthma, chronic fatigue, heart issues, symptoms similar to ALS, POTS, MS.
If any of this sounds familiar- Message me and I can help you know how to get accurate Lyme testing. Not all tests are alike! Better to be safe than sorry because if caught earlier there’s a better chance to get rid of it! Don’t wait until symptoms worsen or trust that the doctor gave you the right test
