Hey Busy Bee's... Here's reminder that we can both benefit from
Being busy is a choice.
Being busy is a habit, not a necessity.
DON'T BE BUSY FOR THE SAKE OF BEING BUSY.
If you feel like you don't have enough time, or you feel guilty when you aren't working on your biz... You're not alone. I hear this from almost all my clients. And I get it too.
But here's the thing. When I look at my own priorities, and when clients show me their schedule & priorities, we're always able to gain back some time in there for the things they want to be doing.
1. BEHAVIOUR: Prioritise your tasks by what's going to make the biggest impact. The other stuff, it can either wait, be outsourced or let go of. Try giving this a go yourself. If you're struggling, use the priorities quadrant (swipe left to see it).
2. MINDSET: Disassociate yourself with the busy and swap the language. If someone asks how you are or when you can meet, rather than "I'm really busy this week" you could say something like "my calendar is full".
I've been doing this with extra care of late - taking a yoga classes when I don't have to be online first thing & closing the laptop for sunset, even if I do go back and finish something off after dinner. I promise you'll feel calmer & happier and those around you reap the benefits too, as will your business!
