When your children are young adults you don’t often get opportunities to travel with them and their friends, but this weekend Allan and I had the honor and privilege of traveling with some amazing young men and women. It is so much fun to breathe in the excitement, plans and hope of a college student. Their laughter is contagious and their energy is inspiring. ❤️
This weekend was also, however, another reminder to me of how important it is that your children grow up to have a close walk with the Lord. Their relationship with the Savior must grow to be their own. When you as their parent can’t fix things, open doors of opportunity, and shelter them from disappointments and other people’s decisions, to whom will they turn? Where is their faith placed? Who do they trust with their future?
If your children are not raised with a strong foundation in the Lord, His Word, Truth and how to apply it..they are going to struggle in ways that could have been avoided. Teach them well, dear parents. Time is so short. Many start out well, but very few finish well. With God’s help, this doesn’t have to be your testimony. ❤️
