The visibility in Roatan is absolutely incredible. We have had 30-40m of visibility and the water is such a rich blue!⠀
I was actually in Roatan 5 years ago and I did my first 50m dive here and on that day I remember I could see the sea floor from the surface and it was 55m deep. I didn't believe my instructor at the time when he told he that the line was 50m deep! But I just swam down there and it was so easy⠀
Now visibility doesn't effect my dives but it certainly is a bonus to be diving in such clear blue water! ⠀

Eco Packaging ~ Sabemos que el " packaging" en si va en contra de la filosofía #zerowaste, pero aun hay muchos productos que siguen necesitando envase.

#jenniferhayesig - A titan triggerfish rises from its nest to tell our team to move along in Anilao Philippines. Titans aggressively defend their nests from raiding fish, eels and passing divers. Once we saw that this wonderful creature had eggs to protect we moved on to stop distracting her from the nest. If you watch closely this titan returns to the nest and lays flat across it to hide it from hoards of hungry wrasse. As this was happening the male, out of frame, swam wide circles several feet above us. #jenniferhayesig - An African elephant relaxes in the cool waters of Botswana's Okavango Delta. Elephants love to roll and scratch their dry skin using the sand bottom like a loofah pad. One my dearest memories in my life came from this #natgeo assignment. It was the dry season and wildlife was struggling, walking miles between water and their food source. Many died. We watched a group of elephants slowly approach and form a circle around a dead elephant. The matriarch picked up a bone and passed it to the next elephant until all had held it and the last one gently put it back where it came from. I had witnessed a "mourning circle". The experience touched my soul. Elephants are extremely intelligent, fiercely family dependent, experience joy and grief on our level and they are endangered, their numbers plunging uncontrollably throughout Africa from poaching. Humans do not need to kill and collect these magnificent and threatened creatures for their wall. // from #natgeo assignment The Miracle Delta. // with #the_explorers_club#thephotosociety#natgeocreative // #elephant#africa#beloved#endangeredspecies for #moreocean and storytelling follow #jenniferhayesig - #regrann
