This form of activity doesn't happen at the gym, but instead relies on your daily choices .
Society is becoming more sedentary each and every year. Many are consumed with work, cooking, cleaning, kids and family commitments. Lives are just too busy ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Itโ€™s just the way it is now! I hate to think what the world will be like in 10 years time ๐Ÿ˜”

We simply canโ€™t use it as an excuse ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
.
This is why (more than ever before) we have to make a conscious effort to move our bodies each and every day ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป
.
Here are some top tips to add movement into your day without thinking too much about it
.
1๏ธโƒฃ Give yourself a goal to do 12,0000 steps every day ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ

2๏ธโƒฃ Grab a friend, son, daughter or your dog for an early morning walk before breakfast (especially if your kids are early risers) ๐Ÿ‘ฌ๐Ÿ‘ญ

3๏ธโƒฃ Walk to your bus stop or train station in the morning and afternoon ๐Ÿšž
.
4๏ธโƒฃ Take the stairs over the lift every time ๐Ÿ™Œ

5๏ธโƒฃ Add in a lunch time walk for 20 mins with a colleague. Have lunch far from your office ๐Ÿ˜€

6๏ธโƒฃ Get up out of your chair for a few stretches and a lap around the office every hour ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

The amount of girls I have had message me on this account over the years asking me how to get a bigger butt, how to overcome disordered eating, how simultaneously fit into their old jeans but also become more body positive - is amazing.

My number one piece of advice, and what I say to these girls, is to dig deep and think about what truly matters. As crazy as it sounds Iโ€™ve told them to think about dying, not in a destructive nature, but in a way that shines a light on the important life experiences.

Think youโ€™re going to care about that time you fit into size 6 jeans? Think youโ€™re going to care about that time you ate some chocolate when you told yourself you wouldnโ€™t? Or how about that time you wore a bikini and you KNOW everyone was staring at the stretch marks on your stomach (pssst nobody actually was). These are not experiences, theyโ€™re not what life is about. So the next time youโ€™re judging yourself in the mirror, or feeling anxious about wearing something... ask yourself if youโ€™re measuring your life on what truly matters ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ #morningthoughts

I often see within the fitness industry (and here on social media) that we tend to get caught up in different tribes โ€“ arguing over which method, programming or style is "better". But really, it's so incredibly personal and to find consistency and adherence for the many health benefits exercise can bring โ€“ enjoyment is key. โ €

For me, it's any kind of movement that allows me to centre my breath and connect to my body (bonus points if I can do it in an idyllic location, in the warmth and with some friends around too, but hey, I'm not too picky!). โ €
