The beautiful thing in an online documented journey is that you get to benefit from others, as well as share mistakes and successes with everyone.
Since I gave birth, I have not yet returned to my pre-pregnancy weight. I have certainly improved my fat/muscles ratios, but still, I have good 8 kilos to drop. The closest I reached which was right after my post delivery diet, was 5 Kg more than my pre-pregnancy weight. Although I weigh more now, my muscles mass is much greater, yet, I have big room for improvement on my fat side.
Dozens of diets were tried, and my workouts schedule has always been crazy, so the issue is mainly with my food. I do very well weekdays, then I ruin it all over the weekend. Still, I feel that my progress is so slow, even with those screw ups.
I have been eating clean for a while now, but getting hungry all the time, which ruined my mood and impacted my performance. Yesterday I decided to go higher on the daily calories intake and I felt powered throughout the day. I also had a chat with a friend @jlfitness.bh , Who is an amazing personal trainer and an athlete. She suggested to me to do a macros diet, and provided me with the resources to do so. I did the test, and got the above results.
So I am starting this, and sticking to it, for the month of July ( I need to consult her on cheat meals though), and see how it feels. I feel the amount of calories is high, I cant even eat that much on a daily basis, but I am going to give it a go. I am not looking for drastic weight loss, just slow and steady.
On a separate note, I re-did my FTP test on Zwift, and got a good power improvement. Looking forward to new killer training zones 👋🏼 #gym#treadmill#run#nike#turbo#workout#bahrain#zwift#getfit#justdoit#newmom#mom#fitness#wannabe#cardio#exercise#weightloss#cleaneating#healtheating#healthyrecipes#garmin#marathon#train#calories#lose#BahrainFitness#mumsinbahrain#IronManTraining
