All right, friends. I have now sewn our own Miss Veronika's costume for our Prohibition Murder Mystery Dinner (spoiler alert: she will be a Flapper) -- as always, she is adorable (just ask Michael). Saturday, September 15th at 6:30 p.m. (we will fill up, so if you're interested, try to make your reservation sooner, rather than later) -- you can choose to be a character or just an observer (that will be me & The Polar Bear). Those that opt to be characters will get an envelope and props (no costumes needed -- unless you want to dress up for the occasion, which we encourage) for your role. The cost will be $45 and that will get you a Prohibition Era dinner and a show. In addition, we will serve Prohibition Era cocktails and offer cocktail tastings with our own homeade concoctions, so plan on a couple of hours of food and fun while a murder occurs and we solve it! As a bonus, the first 5 people who hand us the correct answers will win a prize. Veronika is getting some really cool (I'm biased, though) things for the winners.
And following shortly thereafter, we are holding our November "Night to Remember" seven-course dinner on Friday & Saturday, November 2nd and 3rd (reservations taken from 5:00-9:00 p.m.) for $75 per person. The wine pairing is optional, but looks to be delicious.
We will release the menu for the Prohibition Murder Mystery Dinner later this week, and the menu for the November "Night To Remember" Dinner either next week, or the week after.
For dinner this week, we're featuring Fried Shrimp and Blackened Mahi Mahi, served with Jalapeno Grits and topped in Red-Eye Gravy.
