A question I get asked frequently is "Why did you start training?" & my response is always the same: "Because I didn't like being skinny". Now, there is nothing wrong or unattractive about being skinny. I just didn't believe I wore it well.
A lot of girls and influencers on here tell you to love yourself regardless of how you look etc & so they should! You should love yourself regardless of your appearance but my reality was that I didn't. However, I did love myself enough to change myself for, what I deemed to be, "the better". I was tired of constantly nitpicking at my "flaws" & comparing myself to others & just putting myself down, so I made a change.
As a result of training & my fitness journey, my nutrition has improved drastically, I take more care of my skin, I'm stronger, I'm healthier overall & most of all bih I'm not insecure I think I'm poppin' from head to toe & nobody can tell me NADA
So don't ever feel like if you don't love yourself in the moment, that's it's permanent. If you aren't happy with a situation, change it. That's one of the highest forms of self love
