Part 1 of probably too many shout outs to the cast of @lotonceonthisisland that wraps up in a week. First up the villain, somebody had to say it, of the show. When he's not recklessly driving cars made out of people, paying off side chicks with toonies and trying to bring back the Kangol hat, Daniel sends his time exploiting #blackgirlmagic and using tradition, class and colorism to hide from doing the right thing. A master of subtlety condescending songs but a failure of anger management classes Daniel is a complex character you either hate to love or love to hate.
@tahaarshad , on the other hand, is the opposite of the character he plays. I can't help but judge people by the way they treat kids (especially mine). I have seen and heard about him being kind and gentle to Ainara during the shows and during their photoshoots. To see such a warm person play a part that is sometimes so cold and conflicted shows the depth of his skills. A modern-day spin on a superhero that does neuroscience by day and sings his heart out at night. We wish you the best in everything you do.
