There are places that you learn to love because people never ask for your name and you never have to prove your worth. The people do not mind you coming in slippers because it doesn't matter. You met strangers but when you shake hands, they become an instant part of your life's mosaic. So I come here, not to be remembered but to be forgotten by time.
In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks 🍃🌿
When I was younger, I used to think that life is hello then goodbye. I ran around breaking things, bones and teeth including mine and other people's hearts. Getting away with it and feeling nothing. I hurt others and got hurt in return but it was ok because I have accepted the principle that what goes around comes around. Now I learned that life is not always "quid pro quo." There are times and these usually are the painful ones, when you give so much and get so little. Its frustrating!
Doing yoga taught me otherwise: it's the minute things that sum up to something great. The countless times you fall during inversion and balancing poses or the micro bends during downward dogs contribute to perfecting them. So whenever you feel being forgotten, neglected and unappreciated, hold your breath and know that what you are holding (your breath) is way important than what others think. When you exhale, understand that you are given another chance to live not by those around you but by your own freewill. Choose to breathe and live!
When I lived in the UK (from the age of 6 to 24) and moved back to the Philippines I always longed for my worlds to collide by means of friends coming to visit me so I could SHOW them what words often failed to describe. Today, that happened when my sweet friend from the Philippines, arrived for a quick visit here in Canada. These were just some of the gifts she brought from home, since my kids have started eating the rest! Bringing gifts back for family or friends from your travels is a tradition called "pa-sa-lu-bong". A way to share blessings with people you care about. Thank you "Kitty Kat!" ..I loved catching up with you about the good ol'days and can't wait for more when you recover from jetlag. Swipe ⬅️ to see my beautiful friend. I used to call her my (lil) sis...But she's all grown up now. Thank you for bringing me pieces of home. #Pilipinas 🇵🇭. . . . . . #chocnut#pastillasdeleche#pasalubong#friendship#ilovephilippines#philippines#wowphilippines#mylilsis#2worldscollide#thankful#musttravelph#goph
