I can't believe we found the vintage wooden screen door of my dreams today! I'd been wanting to visit a certain antique store we pass on the way to the Carlisle Home Depot. But it's only open on weekends and closes early so we hadn't made it yet. By lucky happenstance they were open today! It's a gorgeous place filled with gorgeous old things--but one less gorgeous old thing now that this amazing screen door is mine! With some hardware cloth added it will be our door to our chicken coop run. I'm so thankful for this gorgeous door! #HoningTheHuffakerHome#DreamDoor#VintageScreenDoor#ScreenDoor#WoodenDoor#AntiqueDoor#MyFavoriteColorIsGreen
Building bridges! Sometimes those bridges are connecting to ourselves and figuring out what self-care looks like for us. Sometimes bridges are our realization that we don't have to do this life alone. Like learning it's okay and healthy to need others and to ask for help. And, sometimes we need to understand that our help is just a phone call away. Because people really can't read our minds and genuinely want to help or be there for us. Bridges connect us with each other and help us reach every place we never felt we belonged. But we do. We belong. We are allowed to take up space and use our voices. We are allowed to need and be needed. We were never meant to do this life and love stuff alone. 💞
I hope you are having an amazing day. ☺💃💫 Photo by Julia Caesar on Unsplash.
