I wandered lonely as a cloud, That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. - William Wordsworth 🙌🏻

However did you know, our resident Oliver Cromwell banned pie as he decided it was a "pagan form of pleasure?" It wasn't a complete and utter ban on pies, though - just a ban on mainly Christmas celebrations. Oliver Cromwell wanted to tackle gluttony in England and thought that Christmas contained too many superstitions of the Roman Catholic Church, which he was not keen on of course!
The Christmas bans in 1657 didn’t go down well, causing outrage known as the Plum Pudding Riots in the Kent city in 1658.
The ban was eventually lifted in 1660!
Can’t wait to shoot some more pre wedding shoots with my couples this year. Excellent way in having a good feel of what it will be like being photographed by me on your wedding day.
Frame Fridays ~ this doorframe & the Justice Room are a favourite location with visitors, the unique colours provide the perfect backdrop - 📸 by @victoriahphoto. We re-open in April on Wednesdays & Sundays.
How are you gonna feel on your wedding day? If it’s anything like Steph then your in for a treat. What a day this was.
Military Monday ~ we loved this wedding with a military theme linked to the grooms work, it’s such a personal thing of how you theme your wedding and even more personal when you link it with pride to something you do on a daily basis...
