I used to get caught up thinking self care had to be something that took up lots of time. I was guilty of going from one thing to the next, thinking I didn't have 'time' to stop
Now I feel like I'm much better at giving myself the chance to tune in & listen to my body (and mind) when I need it. Sure, a massage or going on a long walk are amazing, but I also find that the most achievable self care moments are incidental!
Like saying some affirmations when you're driving and waiting for the lights to change or doing a little dry body brushing before a shower (just legs or just stomach if time is of the essence!)
I'm constantly coming up with ways to add self care to all parts of my day instead of being something that stands alone and is easy to skip
How about you? What small things do you do throughout the day that make a big impact?
It sure is heating up outside There's no better way to cool down than with one of our delicious fresh juices! Pictured here we have a combination of watermelon, apple and mint! Which tastes just as good as it looks #groundfloorcafe
