We're so excited to be on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern! Spent the day on set at Las Golondrinas chatting about local wild foods and preparing a totally wild meal. Acorn mush cakes with wild tepary beans, fried cholla buds with chiltepin and watercress, wild plum salsa and buffalo gourd seed crema. With a few sunchoke chips and a honey mesquite reduction, and prickly pear juniper berry juice to finish it up. Had a fabulous day - we'll let you know when the show airs!
Until we have met the monsters in ourselves, we keep trying to slay them in our outer world, and we find we cannot. For all darkness in the world stems from the heart, and that is where we must do our work.
