I was too optimistic and ambitious last Sunday ! 🙈
2 races on same weekend... Who got this wonderful idea ?
Here is the story :
I have registered for PZU Half Marathon last August, with hope than I would be ready to run the distance within 2 months from my comeback on running tracks.
Of course, I've sold the bear before I've killed it, my longest 2017's run is 12 km...
With 6km from Armageddon Challenge on Saturday + 21 km on Sunday... even a blind person can see the trap 😅
When I picked my start package to get the tee-shirt, unfortunately I liked my race number 4334 and motivation came !! Which is bad in my case as not trained at all for this distance 😂
Then I met Hillary Kiptum Maiyo, in sport shop, Kenyan half Marathoner, who won last year and also this year too 💪🏼
All these conditions mixed pushed me to not give up & to be part of it... uuup's 😊
No time target for this race, finish it would be a great victory!
4th PZU Cracovia Polmaraton

It's definitely not my best race.
When you are not trained for it, you get what you deserve !!

20km - 1h49'10 - pace 5'28/km - rank 3462
From 5km to 20km, 1147 runners overtook me... I wasn't fighting against the time but against myself to not give up and cross finish line 😰
Congrats to @jeremyruffenach who crossed the finish line with feet pain 💪🏼
